Lower back pain and leg pain


 

Lower back pain is the most common reason for missed work in the United States. Lower back pain most commonly caused by injury to the muscle or the ligaments.  Other causes of pain are herniated disc, degenerative disease of the spine, pinched nerve, Sciatica, Facet joint Arthrosis,  Scoliosis, SI dysfunction (Sacral iliac joint dysfunction) or Sacroiliitis ,Spinal Stenosis , Spondylitis, Spondylolysis, Spondylolisthesis, Ankylosing spondylitis. The pain cand range from a dull ache to stabbing shooting pain.  The pain may occur suddenly after nothing at all or activity.  The pain can radiate down the leg, know as radiculopathy.  Radiculopathy can occur most often with herniated disc.  Symptoms can be weakness of the legs, pain with coughing or bearing down, bladder or bowel control. Risk factors for back pain are being overweight, not getting enough exercise, sitting for long period of time, heavy lifting.   Diagnosis with x-ray or MRI scan, further testing may be needed based off exam.

Treatment for elbow bursitis can consist of physical therapy, bracing, medication,  steroid injection, homeopathic injections, MLS laser, stem cell, Exosomes, or surgery.
